After so many years traveling, Stanislava has settled in her Melbourne studio. In a process of dreaming and mapping, she has begun retracing her life through delicate pinprick maps on white paper, detailing the cities she has called home. Hidden within each ephemeral piece are her memories, routines and experiences of each city, as well as pathways leading to her friends houses across the world. The National Gallery of Australia recently acquired two of her pinprick works, making Stanislava one of the youngest artists in the national collection.
